Stride Design Career Fair (Jan 15th, 2019): Company Registration

Please register your company through Eventbrite no later than December 14th, 2018 at 12:00 PM to ensure the event organizers have enough time to finalize details and logistics with your company and the university.

Package Tiers and Information

The 2019 Bronze Level (Startups) Registration fee of $300 includes:

• One table booth at Stride Career Fair
• Opportunity to distribute company promotional material at Stride Career Fair
• Company logo and information on Stride Career Fair Website
• Option to send up to 2 company representatives (UC San Diego alumni do not affect count)
• Ability to post job listings to the Design at UCSD community (because a platform is being built for this, job listings will be shared to students in our community through the medium of an open access Google spreadsheet).
• Light beverages and refreshments provided to your company representatives throughout the entirety of the event

The 2019 Silver Level (General Companies) Registration fee of $500 includes:

• All Bronze Level Benefits
• Company logo and information on Stride Career Fair website and other digital marketing platforms (social media, newsletter etc)
• Option to send up to 4 company representatives (UC San Diego alumni do not affect count)

The 2019 Gold Level (Top-Sponsors) Registration fee of $1,000 includes:

• All Silver Level Benefits
• Company logo on print marketing collateral (posters, flyers etc)
• Company logo on event signage
• Option to send up to 6 company representatives (UC San Diego alumni do not affect count)
• Opportunity to host 1.5 hour company informational and networking session a day before or after the main career fair event (Design at UCSD will provide light refreshments for attendees during this session but not full catering)
• Access to one private interview room during the event
• Access to student resumes prior to the event

Stride Information and Details

Stride Design Career Fair connects top design students from UC San Diego to career opportunities in the fields of human factors, user research, user experience, interaction design, UI design, visual design, content strategy, product management, product development, brand design, product design, UX engineering, web development and much more.

The traditional career fair format isn’t catered toward students seeking design roles. Designers need a medium to showcase their work and experience. At Stride, students have the opportunity to present their projects and portfolio to representatives from companies giving recruiters a holistic sense of their capabilities, background, and experience level. For students, this is an opportunity to showcase their wide range of skill sets and abilities, increasing their chances to land internships and jobs across a diverse range of industries.

When

January 15th, 2019 from 12:00PM to 4:00PM

Companies may arrive as early at 11:00AM to set-up. We ask that at least one representative from your company arrives by 11:30AM latest to check-in with a member of the Design at UCSD leadership team, set-up your company’s booth, and familiarize yourself with the space.

If for any reason your company opts out of participating in the Stride Design Career Fair, no refund will be made. All the proceeds of the registration fee will serve as a donation to Design at UCSD and the design community at UC San Diego.
